Wakefield Trinity are pleased to confirm Jacob Holmes as the clubs new Women’s Head Coach.

Holmes joins the club from Huddersfield Giants where he was Head Coach of the Giants Women’s U19s team as well as a coach within the Huddersfield youth team.

He has a wealth of experience in player development thanks to his time within Rugby League and will combine his role of Women’s Head Coach with a role within our Foundation as Women & Girls Pathway Coordinator where he will work within schools and community clubs to increase participation within Women’s Rugby.

On taking the role, Holmes said: “I’m really excited to be taking on the challenge of being Women’s Head Coach here at Trinity. It’s a step up from the previous roles that I have done but it is an exciting role that I am looking to progress in alongside the lofty ambitions of the club.”
