Miller Commits Long Term At Wakefield Trinity

Jacob Miller has put pen to paper on a new four and a half year deal at Wakefield Trinity.

The 25 year old halfback joined Trinity back in 2015 from Super League side Hull FC on a one-year deal and has since gone on to make 92 appearances and scored 35 tries in his time in the red, white and blue jersey.

Miller, who is sponsored by Hanson Plywood, made the move to Super League back in 2013 from NRL Club, Wests Tigers where he made nine first grade appearances for the Australian team and was a Toyota Cup winner with the Club’s Youth Grade.

Jacob Miller spoke of his new deal, he said, “I am very happy, the Club has come such a long way since I first signed here and it is nice to feel a part of something that is building towards something new. The fans and everyone involved at the club are very supportive, it is great to be able to have that support network behind you.”

Head Coach Chris Chester said, “I am delighted that Jacob has signed a new deal, he’s an outstanding player who still has a long career ahead of him. It is great that he has committed his long term future to Wakefield Trinity.

“I have enjoyed seeing him grow and develop as a player over the past couple of seasons and I look forward to working with him in the future.”
