Wakefield Trinity Ladies will look to bounce back from defeat over Castleford as we face Featherstone Rovers in the final game of the Betfred Women’s Super League season at Sharlston.
Ourselves
Following defeat against Castleford at the weekend, Wakefield Trinity Ladies will look to finish their season on a positive as they face Rovers for the third time this season.
Last weekend’s defeat wasn’t all doom and gloom as Trinity registered two tries at the Mend-A Hose Jungle. An incredible break from Olivia Lancaster after she latched onto Sophia Liu’s pass before Millen Downs clawed us one back after the break.
Castleford took the victory, though, with five second half tries to condemn Trinity to defeat as we look to end on a high at the weekend.
Featherstone Rovers Ladies
Other than the run-away leaders, Warrington, Featherstone have been one of the most consistent teams in the competition this season.
Finishing the season in second place and making the playoffs, the side also made it through to the Challenge Cup semi-finals.
The side come into this weekend’s contest having secured a vital victory over Barrow at the Millennium Stadium as they search for a spot in BWSL 1.
