Match Preview | Trinity vs Rhinos

Wakefield Trinity takes on Leeds Rhinos in the next game of the 2022 season. The two clubs have a long history together, with both sides taking three wins apiece in the last six meetings.

However, all eyes will be on the Be Well Support Stadium on Thursday night to see who can take the victory.

Wakefield Trinity:

Despite a positive performance against St Helens last Friday, Trinity just fell short of the mark, falling to a 20-4 defeat to the reigning champions.

An all-heart display offered head coach Willie Poching much to ponder, with youngster Harry Bowes backing up his performance against Catalans with a positive performance against Saints.

However, all eyes – including the Sky Sports cameras – will be on the Be Well Support Stadium on Thursday as we aim to take the bragging rights in an all-West Yorkshire clash.

The Opposition: Leeds Rhinos

Local rivals, Leeds Rhinos, are also still yet to win a game in 2022, falling to defeat in their last game outing against French side, Catalan Dragons.

With no wins in three, Leeds will be heading to Wakefield with fire in their belly, hoping to snatch a first win of 2022 against their West Yorkshire counterparts.

Head coach Willie Poching has named his 21-player squad for Thursday’s clash against Leeds Rhinos.
