Wakefield Trinity Ladies look to bounce back this weekend as we face Oulton Raidenttes for a place in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
Ourselves
Victory over Castleford two weeks ago left Wakefield Trinity Ladies with just one foot in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals, however, after Featherstone took the victory on Sunday at the Be Well Support Stadium, a must-win game against Oulton beckons.
Trinity fell to a 32-0 defeat at the weekend, condemning our first defeat in a competitive match in 2022, as Featherstone took the victory in a disappointing fashion.
There were positives, however, with the return of Millen Downs and Becky Grady for the first time in 2022, Trinity looked positive in attack.
They will need to use all the flair they have on Sunday, though, as we come up against a strong Oulton side at the weekend.
Oulton Raidettes
Just like the hosts, Oulton has managed a victory and a defeat in 2022 so far, gaining a comprehensive 40-0 victory over Castleford at the weekend.
A defeat the week before to Featherstone offers Oulton the chance to come second in the group if they beat Wakefield on Sunday.
With their tails up, the Championship side will look to cause an upset and make it into the next round of the Challenge Cup.
