Wakefield Trinity Ladies can confirm the visit of Oulton Raidettes as part of the Club & Foundation’s Inclusion Round on Sunday.
Following the announcement that our Physical & Learning Disability Rugby League sides will be in action following the men’s game against Warrington, we are pleased that our Ladies’ side will also feature, hosting Oulton from 11:45am.
With a fairly new squad, the team have come on leaps and bounds over the past few weeks, tightening their defensive line, and scoring more tries in the process.
One thing that couldn’t be disputed is the side’s spirit and determination, being led around the field, utilising the mix of experience and fresh energy.
With the likes of Sophia Liu showing her Rugby League intelligence in the centre of the field and Katie Evans ripping it up on the edge, the side will be looking to get that first victory on the board in the coming weeks.
However, now, we face a stern test against strong opposition, welcoming Oulton for the first time in 2023, with the game kicking off at 11:45am.
This game will serve as one of the showpiece events of our Inclusion Round, celebrating all of the great success our emerging teams and programmes have had over the past few years, showing even further why this is a game for all.
To partner alongside our Inclusion Round, we would like to revisit, once again, our partnership with Her Game Too and all of the great work they have done to make Rugby League accessible for all.
Spectators will be able to watch all four games on Sunday, with just one ticket. To be a part of this incredible celebration, please secure your place by clicking HERE.
