Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced PE Specialist with well-developed interpersonal skills to join our Education Department.
The role will see the successful PE Specialist based in a number of different schools across the Wakefield District & beyond, delivering a wide range of sessions, up to 7 sessions a day.
A PE Specialist at the WTCF will report directly to the Education Lead and will have an active involvement in our Trinity Education Department, delivering a number of high-quality sessions (curriculum-based PE lessons, 1-1 sessions, assemblies, lunchtime clubs, teacher CPD, PPA cover and after school clubs) each day, in schools.
A PE Specialist will work closely with the Education Lead to make sure all aspects of delivery are run to the highest of standards. They will also need to have a positive working relationship with the school, head teacher, PE Lead and class teachers.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, evidence of leadership, proven organisation skills, experience of managing projects and an ability to work on their own initiative. Applicants should have a sound understanding of the Physical Education National Curriculum.
This role will be an opportunity for you to work closely with a professional rugby league club, the board of trustees, and the wider staff team, to further develop the Education Department across the Wakefield District.
Salary – £22,500 – £25,000
Expected start Date – January 2025
