Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation are seeking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic, and target driven person to effectively manage the delivery of a high quality NCS programme in Wakefield.
Responsibilities extend to the management of operational and administrative staff, oversight of health and safety and safeguarding matters as well as operational deployment and incident management. The role will be the key liaison between Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation and the commissioning body, The EFL Trust.
About the role:
The successful candidate will have project management experience in educational and non-traditional settings and should also have experience in managing a multi-disciplined team, practical management of a CRM system (ideally Salesforce) and a proven track record of managing relationships and partnerships to support the success of the NCS programme. Prior experience of NCS and/or community outreach work as well is desirable.
Applicants should have a good knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding and health and safety; a proven ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, a secure understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes, be self-motivated, with excellent communication skills including written, telephone and interpersonal skills.
As an employed member of staff at Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation you will be entitled to statutory holidays that include bank holidays as well as adopting a flexible working policy. You will be required to attend regular NCS and Foundation meetings and manage your own time and performance.

About NCS:
NCS is a 3 or 4-week project designed to engaged young people, aged 15 – 17. The programme will equip young people with valuable skills for work and life. The project is devised into 4 stages; Be Epic – week of adventure, enjoying some adrenaline-fuelled activities including rock-climbing, canoeing, hiking, and archery. Live Life – stay in uni-style accommodation, learn how to cook, live independently, and learn huge skills that make for a killer CV. Keep Doing Good – change the world around, that’s why this week/two-weeks is dedicated to delivering their very own social action project. Go Party – celebrate after the programme, all the NCS graduates are rewarded with a memorable celebration after doing inspirational work in their community.
