Hasson Puts Pen to Paper at Trinity

July 15, 2017

Wakefield Trinity are delighted to announce the signing of James Hasson until the end of the season.

Hasson, 25, who is a British-Born Australian prop/second-row, has joined the club from Super League side Salford Red Devils.

The Irish International made the move from the NRL side Parramatta Eels in May this year to join the Super League and has made four appearances in his time at the Devils.

Head Coach Chris Chester said, “I am delighted to have secured James, he is a player that I have been interested in for some time now and fortunately he became available.

“He’ll be a great addition to Trinity and he will provide us with great competition for places in our squad going into the Super 8s competition.”

James Hasson commented, “I am very excited to join Wakefield, I know a fair few of the lads here which helps with the move. I am going into a bit of the unknown but the club are in a good position in the table and I have been fortunate to watch Trinity’s style of play against Widnes ahead of training on Monday.

“I have known Chris for a couple of years and I am fortunate that I am now able to work under him and hopefully I can impress and make it all worth it over the next couple of months.”
