Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation runs a Female 16-19 Development Academy in partnership with Wakefield College, providing further playing opportunities for young players alongside their academic studies.
The Development Academy allows students from Wakefield College to compete in Girls Festivals alongside teams from other Super League clubs and Colleges.
In addition, players take part in regular training sessions at a high-performance environment at the DIY Kitchens Stadium, utilising the gym, field and wrestle room to improve their core skills.
The free-to-join Development Academy is open to players of all abilities.
