Wakefield Trinity have named their first 21-Man Squad of the 2026 Betfred Super League season.
Trinity will take on Toulouse on their return to the top flight at the DIY Kitchens Stadium on Saturday 14th February (KO:8pm).
A bumper crowd is expected at Belle Vue with Trinity fans turning out in force for the first home game of 2026.
The last time the two sides faced off was in the Betfred Championship Grand Final at the end of the 2024 season. Wakefield walked away comfortable 36-0 victors on that day with many fans hoping for a repeat.
Tickets do still remain for this game with the Neil Fox MBE East Stand being a complete sell out. Fans can purchase tickets from our Retail Store now based down at the DIY Kitchens Stadium or via our online ticket box office which can be found here.
Daryl Powell has welcomed International stars Mike McMeeken and Jazz Tevaga into the squad after both were held back from Trinity’s Challenge Cup game at Swinton Lions.
Skipper, McMeeken played in all three of England’s Ashes tests against Australia while Tevaga pulled on the Samoan jersey in the Pacific Championships before heading over to the UK to join Wakefield.
The duo join the likes of Tyson Smoothy, Jack Sinfield, Tray Lolesio, Jordan Williams and Will Tate who are two the other new faces included in Trinity’s first Super League squad of the year.
Lachlan Walmsley also comes into the squad replacing Jayden Myers. The Australian scored 13 tries in his first season in Super League in 2025.
Noah High, Charlie Abraham are the other two players that drop out of the 21-Man Squad.
