Cameron Scott Joins Trinity!

Wakefield Trinity are proud to announce the signing of Cameron Scott from Hull FC!

The 24-year old joins Trinity on a two-year deal with an option of a third.

A former Bradford Bulls youngster, Scott made the move over to Hull FC at a young age and rose through their academy system making his Super League debut in 2018.

The centre has captained the England Academy side in the same year as his Super League debut and has gone on to make over 70 appearances in the Black and White while also making appearances for Doncaster, Dewsbury, York and Leigh on loan.

This year, Scott has played 11 times for Hull mixing up his position between centre and back row proving to be effective in both positions.

He joins Tom Johnstone and Mike McMeeken as Trinity’s 2025 recruitments to be confirmed so far.

Scott says the move to Wakefield was something that he could not turn down: “I’m really excited at the opportunity of coming to Wakefield. It’s a club that’s doing a lot of things right, both on and off the field and are heading in the right direction. I feel I reached the point in my career where I needed something new and when Wakefield came in the opportunity was too good to miss”

Trinity Head Coach, Daryl Powell said: “We are delighted to add Cam to our squad for next year. Young English outside backs of this quality are tough to find and Cam is a quality player already who we feel will thrive within our environment . We wish him all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to welcoming him to the Trinity family next season in 2025.”

Recruitment Manager, Ste Mills said: “We are made up to secure Cameron’s services for the 2025 season & beyond. I have been a fan of Cam since he was in the scholarship at Bradford all those years ago. He is a young English player who is driven to become the best player he can possibly be, and I am certain he will be a huge success at Wakefield Trinity. He fits perfectly into our recruitment model & I can’t wait to see him in 2025 in the Red, White & Blue.”
