Trinity’s Liam Finn is helping to raise money for the ‘Support Smudger’ campaign by auctioning off his 2017 match worn Magic Weekend Spider Man shirt.
The ‘Support Smudger’ campaign has been set up to raise money for 37-year old, Nick ‘Smudger’ Smith who has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. All the money raised will be to help support Nick and his family, more information can be found here.
Smith, who is a dad of two young children, is a Siddal Rugby League Legend and attended the same junior club as Liam Finn.
The auction for Liam Finn’s spider man shirt is now live, if you wish to place a bid please comment on either the club’s Twitter account, Facebook page or you can send the club a private message on either social media channels with the amount you wish to bid at.
Liam Finn has started the auction off at £50; it will end at 6pm on Sunday November 26 where the amount raised will be announced at the Family Fun Day run by the ‘Support Smudger’ campaign.
