Wakefield Trinity prop, Yusuf Aydin, visited Outwood Grange Academies Trust Ledger Lane this afternoon to drop off tickets ahead of Sunday’s clash with Wigan.
Ahead of the Be Well Support Stadium’s redevelopment starting on Monday, players have been heading into schools around the district to deliver 2000 tickets to students before this weekend’s blockbuster event.
Aydin spent time with the school’s year six classes, hosting Q&A sessions about his school life, discipline and Rugby League career, ending each session by handing out free tickets to this weekend’s game.
To celebrate this landmark time for the club, Trinity has encouraged both young people and adults to come down to the Be Well Support Stadium for the final time with the ground’s historic East Stand.
Sunday will see supporters entertained by four games, with Wakefield Trinity Ladies facing Castleford Tigers at 12pm before our Men’s team come up against Wigan Warriors at 3pm. Bringing the curtain down on the day, our PDRL and LDSL sides take to the field after the main event.
Tickets for the event are priced at just £10 for adults, with juniors going free as we look to get the stadium rocking one final time before development starts on the new stand on Monday.
