Atoni Commits to Trinity for 2024

Wakefield Trinity is delighted to announce that Renouf Atoni has re-signed on a two year deal.

 

Renouf, born in New Zealand, joined the club for the start of the 2023 season from NRL side Sydney Roosters He played a total of 43 games in the NRL with Canterbury Bulldogs scoring 3 tries.


He is now 28, 6’3” and weighs in at over 17 stones. He made 22 appearances in his first year in Super League with Trinity and will aim to build on his strong finish to the 2023 season. 

 

Head Coach Daryl Powell said: ‘Renouf finished the season in a really positive way in 23. He is a big powerful player who has the best years of his career ahead of him. He’s a dynamic ball carrier who will really punish defences over the next couple of years. I am delighted to tie him  down I’m looking forward to helping him grow his game to reach his full potential.’
