‘The Boot Room’ launched last week at Eastmoor Dragons with a State of Mind session, hosted by Jimmy Gittins, and will take place this week at The Mobile Rocket Stadium.
Our special guest will be none other than former Head Coach, John Kear, who will share his insight into the great escape from the ‘Battle of Belle Vue’ in 2006 when Wakefield Trinity Wildcats played Castleford Tigers in a relegation decider.
You’ll get to watch the match, talk about it with John and find out how he kept the players’ minds on the job at hand in such a stressful environment.
Our sessions are welcoming and non-intrusive. We aim to send subtle mental fitness messages and gain a greater insight into how sporting figures cope with extreme pressures in their environments, some of which are comparable to the outer world we all live in.
