Wakefield Trinity Women are inviting aspiring rugby league players to showcase their talent at the club’s upcoming Open Trials, taking place on Sunday 26th October 2025, from 12pm to 2pm, at Stanley Rodillians.
Participants will be put through their paces in a series of skills, fitness, and game-based activities under the guidance of Trinity’s coaching and development staff. The trials are designed to identify potential new players for our First Team and the upcoming 2026 season.
Wakefield Trinity have been investing heavily in their Womens team, with new coaching structures, an extended Girls Emerging Player Pathway, and growing grassroots links that offer a clear route from schools and community rugby into the elite environment. The Open Trials are the latest step in strengthening the squad as the club looks to build on its 2026 campaign.
The session is open to players who are eager to take their game to the next level, with the opportunity to earn a place in the Trinity women’s set-up ahead of the new season. Whether you’re looking for a friendly and exciting new environment to continue your Rugby League journey, a way back into the sport, or a new sporting adventure to try, come along and see how Wakefield Trinity could be the best fit.
The Open Trial was due to take place at the DIY Kitchens Stadium but due to off-season works to the playing surface, the Trials have been moved to Stanley Rodillians RUFC.
