Wakefield Trinity are delighted to confirm the Youth Fixtures for the 2021 campaign!

The teams across the youth system at Trinity are eager to get back into action once again, after over twelve months out due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

There will be no Academy Championship this season, after an agreement between the RFL and Heads of Youth at the clubs that the priority should be maximising playing and development opportunities for young players, after the loss of the bulk of the 2020 season.

In addition, the competition has reverted to Under-19s in 2021 – again, a practical response to the impact of Covid-19, as that has led to the postponement of the Reserve Grade competition which had been introduced for 2020 and involved the Academy becoming a competition for Under-18s.

Fixtures for the Under 16’s and Under 17’s have also been confirmed!
