Wakefield Trinity are delighted to be officially partnered with Wakefield Hospice throughout the 2018 Betfred Super League season.
Wakefield Hospice will feature proudly on the front of the first team away shirt, including all fan replica away shirts being sold in the Club shop.
Having been partnered with the charity in various different ways over the years, the front of shirt position on the 2018 away kit has been donated to the Hospice following a discussion between Shareholders at the Club. The Shareholders wanted to do this as a gesture of good will and to show their appreciation for all the amazing work that the Hospice does for the residents of Wakefield. It is hoped that through the substantial media coverage surrounding the rugby fixtures, that the profile of this great charity will be raised even further.
Michael Carter commented, “I, along with the other shareholders, are delighted to help with the amazing work that Wakefield Hospice do. It’s great when two Wakefield Institutions can work together, and hopefully it provides a means for raising much needed funds for the Hospice. We will be supporting Wakefield Hospice throughout the year, and I hope the fans and citizens of Wakefield can spread the good word of Wakefield Hospice.
Helen Knowles, Wakefield Hospice said, “Wakefield Hospice is a very special place, and always will be. As we continue to develop and grow our services, we are committed to working in partnership with others to ensure that, together, we are doing the very best we possibly can for those in our community who need our support.
We are extremely proud and looking forward to working alongside Wakefield Trinity throughout 2018 season, I’m sure it’s going to be a memorable year. Huge thanks go to the Shareholders for choosing Wakefield Hospice to feature on the front of first team away shirt.”
