Wakefield Trinity to host Girls Talent Festival

The Mobile Rocket Stadium will host the cream of the crop in Girls Talent over two consecutive evenings.

The next generation of female rugby league stars will come together tonight (Tuesday 9th July) when the u14s Talent Festival takes place at Belle Vue, the following evening; Wednesday 10th July will see the under 16s talent pool take part.

All girls were identified and nominated through their community clubs and have trained together over the last 5 weeks on the representative programme which forms part of the RFL’s national talent pathway.

Players representing; Central Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Humberside and the North West will take to the field to showcase their skills in a Quad-series of games.

·         8.30pm                 –              North West v Central Yorkshire

Wakefield Trinity are delighted that Olivia Whitehead, Emma Kershaw, Maddie Hirst, Aallisha Rhodes & Phoebe Evans have been selected in this year’s Under 16’s programme to represent Central Yorkshire.

Gates open at 5pm on both nights and entry is just £3 adults and £1 for u16s.
