Wakefield Trinity Ladies have finished their regular season campaign by securing first place and the Championship league leaders title!

A close fought game at home on Saturday when they came out 28-8 winners against a very good Oulton team, however, this didn’t confirm their league leaders status as they had a tense 24 hour wait on other results from yesterday’s games for confirmation.

The Wakefield Trinity Ladies have shown a real unity and togetherness throughout the 2018 season and on the back of only 3 wins in the 2 previous years this has been a remarkable improvement and credit to the determination they have all shown to succeed.

On behalf of everyone at Wakefield Trinity we would like to congratulate all the players, coaches and staff involved in what has been a fantastic year for the Wakefield Trinity Ladies so far.

The Ladies will now enter next week’s play off semi-final with a home draw, details to be confirmed.
