Following a successful year Wakefield Trinity Community department are heading to two award ceremonies this week. 

Tonight the team will travel to Manchester for the RL Cares awards night after been nominated for the “Sports Project of the Year” which is for the recently assessed outstanding Embed the Pathway programme.

Following tonight the club are heading over to Liverpool tomorrow for the Super League club awards where we have been short listed for the “Best Matchday Campaign” award after our hugely successful year with our Ambassador Club programme.

James Stephenson said, “We are really pleased to have been acknowledged through nomination for the work we do. The work we do is for our community and to raise the clubs profile and I am very proud to be a small part of this great club, offering opportunities to all we interact with.

“Regardless of tonight’s and tomorrow results we are just happy to have been considered. We will enjoy both award nights and look forward to improving for next year.”

Chairman, Michael Carter said, “It is a fantastic achievement for the club. Our Community department have put in a lot of hard work the past few months and I am delighted that we have been acknowledged.
