They were joined in the Performance Squad by Half Back, Owen Hughes (inset), Front Row Forward Jake Bell and Full Back Harri Van Der Wal.
Head of Youth & Academy Development Richard Kelly said “Having so many players selected for the 40 man England squad is a strong indication that we’re getting things right within the U16s Scholarship system. Head U16s Coach Tom Kittrick and his staff have been doing a superb job developing our Scholarship players.
Each of the players should be very proud, it’s a huge achievement to be named as one of the top 40 players of your age group, they should use this to fuel their confidence and belief while continuing to work hard.
Connor, Cameron and Yusuf have been selected in the final England squad, I can’t remember the last time Wakefield Trinity had three players representing England!
