Wakefield Trinity’s official dance squad, Trinity X, have been hard at work in the off season getting ready to re-entertain the crowds for the 2022 season.
Back in October, auditions took place with dozens of dancers stepping their way forward to hopefully make it to the final 15 of the Trinity X squad. With the new and improved squad now in place, there has been some very tough choreography to pack into their weekly training sessions ready for the start of the season.
A number of new routines will take place at every home game of the season and Dance Choreography coach, Jodie Travis, is very happy with how rehearsals have been going so far.
“We are really excited to be able to once again perform for the crowds in 2022,” said Travis.
“It’s now been nearly two years since we were last able to perform on the pitch and we have a brilliant, hardworking, set of dancers who are eager to get back out on the pitch to cheer on the boys and entertain our fans.
“We still have a lot of polishing to do for the routines, but we are in a great place now ready for the first home game”.
Trinity X will be performing at each home game throughout the season, and we urge all our supporters to get behind the Dance squad as they take to the field as part of our whole matchday entertainment.
