Wednesday evening saw the Wakefield Trinity Ladies hosted their official kit launch at the Beaumont Legal Stadium.
The evening which was a huge success was an opportunity to thank all the sponsors who have given their financial support to the team.
The evening was opened by Wakefield Trinity’s James Stephenson, who assisted in establishing the ladies team in July of 2016.
There was also an inspiring Q&A with Wakefield Trinity’s Head Coach Chris Chester, who coached the ladies teams for six weeks last year. He gave some great advice and words of encouragement to the Trinity Ladies coaches and players.
Club Chairman, Michael Carter also attended and offered the clubs continued support to the ladies team and looks forward to watching them throughout their maiden 2017 campaign.
The evening however, belonged to the Wakefield Trinity Ladies who all looked fantastic in their new kit, and who are all eagerly anticipating the start of their season on March 12th.
Ladies Head Coach Jo Phillips was presented with a bouquet of flowers from her team and a standing ovation from all of the nights attendees in acknowledgment of all of her hard work, passion and commitment for the Wakefield Trinity Ladies team and grass roots rugby league.
Wakefield Trinity ladies would like to thank their hosts Wakefield Trinity for their hospitality and everyone who attended the evening and helped make it so enjoyable.
The ladies will be playing a preseason friendly against Batley Bulldogs Ladies on Monday 6th March at Sharlston Rovers, kick-off 7.30pm.
