Talent Pathway Coaching Opportunities

Wakefield Trinity Community Department are still on the lookout for a number of quality rugby league coaches to join our award-winning England Talent Pathway programme.

This is the first step to joining our professional coaching team.

England Talent Pathway Development Coaches:

Aligned with the clubs Community & Youth Development departments, prospective coaches will work with players from under 12’s – 16’s (non-scholarship)

Each coach will attend a minimum of 3 CPD workshops to become an accredited England Player Development Coach. This sits within the ETP philosophy to develop coaches to develop players.

A comprehensive series of player development days take place annually here at the stadium and you will be part of a coaching team, delivering skills drills & sessions with a focus on: core skills, mental skills, movement skills, coachability and game sense.

This will lead to:

  • Improved quality of the player
  • Leaves the player in their own environment longer – increased inclusivity
  • More players getting more opportunities to demonstrate their potential
  • Regular, focused, player profiling

The positions are in a voluntary capacity. In return for your efforts you will benefit from the opportunity of working in a professional Super League club, you will also be able to attend Scholarship sessions which provide further CPD opportunities and be mentored to enhance your coaching catalogue.
