Street Games (Empowering Youth)

‘Empowering Youth’ is a collaboration between Wakefield Trinity Community Trust, Wakefield Community Safety Partnership, Castle Family Hub, West Yorkshire Police, and Outwood Academy City Fields. We co-design activities with local people, learning of the challenges they face and developing needs-led solutions which place them at the heart of interventions. ‘Empowering Youth’ seeks to engage twenty young people aged thirteen to sixteen within the targeted provision across the twelve-week period. The project will be split into 3 main pathways, Referral Pathways (working with local schools), Sports (sports sessions held in the local community), and Giving Back (Participants encouraged to take part in extracurricular leadership training).

Sessions will take place on a Monday afternoon, 3.30pm-5pm at the Be Well Support Stadium.
