Primary Rugby League Workshop

We will be hosting a primary rugby league workshop here at Belle Vue Stadium on Monday 20th February.

The workshop is aimed at all community club coaches for under 7s, 8s & 9s.

Venue: Wakefield Trinity, Belle Vue Stadium

Time: 6 – 8pm

The course is mainly classroom based and will assist you with delivery of the Primary Rugby League coaching ethos and rationale with your clubs/teams.

Below is some brief Information about the Primary Rugby League workshop you will be able to deliver following the training. This will be covered in full detail on the 20th February.

Course Title: Primary RL Coaches workshop

Course Duration: Two hours

Cost: Free of charge

Who: The course is predominately aimed at coaches at U7’s, U8’s & U9s however coaches of the older Primary age groups would benefit from this content also.

Course content: Aims to outline the ethos and rational behind PRL. Provide support for coaches when running festivals (the difference between weekly festivals and central venue festivals). How to deliver fun, engaging sessions that involve all players.

Resources: Each team that attends will leave with a copy of the PRL handbook, the handbook is the basis for the training.
