Willie Poching has named his Trinity squad for the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge against Leeds Rhinos on Boxing Day. (11:30am kick off).

Trinity Head Coach, Poching, said: “The lads, as you’d expect, are really excited to get playing again.

“We are excited to see them play and do what they do best. The young lads especially are excited to get in front of a crowd and be on the pitch at Headingley and it will be something for them to remember. That in itself really gets me buzzing.”

The 22-man squad includes new signings Corey Hall, Lee Gaskell, Sid Adebiyi, Liam Hood and Jai Whitbread.

Outside backs John Davetanivalu and Thomas Minns, who are both on trial with the club, are set to feature.

Charlie Abraham, Robbie Butterworth, Oliver Farrar and Kobe Poching, who all impressed during our academy campaign last season, earning them a place in the 2022 reserves squad, are in line to feature.
