PDRL Announce New Head Coach

Wakefield Trinity Disability Rugby League are delighted to announce Daniel Thorpe as their new Physical Disability Rugby League Head Coach.

 

Daniel will join the club ahead of the 2019 season and will work alongside our current coaching staff.

 

Daniel has played professionally with Dewsbury Rams and York City Knights and has also coached at Hunslet Parkside, whilst most recently being involved at Castleford Tigers. 

 

Wakefield Trinity’s Development Officer Josh Riding said, “Daniel will be a fantastic addition to our team in 2019. He joins us with bags of experience both in teaching and coaching. We are really looking forward to him joining us and taking our Physical Disability programme to the next level”.

 

Wakefield Trinity Disability Rugby League will be launching Physical Disability, Learning Disability and for the first time will be involved in a wheelchair Rugby League programme in 2019 with a launch night date being confirmed soon.
