Matchday entertainment returns for 2022

Wakefield Trinity is delighted to confirm that both pre-match and half-time matchday entertainment will return in 2022.

Following the 2021 season, where we had minimal activities taking place due to restrictions, 2022 will see fans being granted access back into the stadiums well ahead of kick-off to be able to watch and support our pre-match festivals where hundreds of local junior and youth players will take to the field.

In addition, we will see our partners DanceXplosion and Trinity X entertaining the crowds with their superbly choreographed routines.

With a watered-down version of our packed-out pre-match activities last year, we hope to go bigger and better for the forthcoming season, with Rugby League, schools, inclusion, and dance activities, along with the Bistro42 crossbar challenge returning for this season.

Speaking upon the improved set-up, Trinity’s Community Manager, James Stephenson, said, “As a club, we have worked hard in the offseason to ensure that we can add more value to matchdays with the return of our award-winning activities.

“There have been a few minor tweaks to the routine already in place, which should further enhance everyone’s experience and create a special feeling for all our audience.

“These subtleties are just the start of what we hope to bring to our matchdays and with the new stadium improvements on the horizon, we are looking forward to being able to create an exciting whole matchday experience that caters for everybody in attendance”

The club welcomes any feedback and suggestions moving forward to offer the best we can for our audience and community.
