Wakefield Trinity will take on Castleford Tigers at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle this afternoon.
The big game kicks off at 2:30pm and we are live on Sky Sports, BBC Radio Leeds.
Pre-sale tickets have rocketed for this match having sold over 10,000 tickets. Fans can pay on the turnstiles this afternoon but please ensure you get down early and read the ticketing information below.
There’s plenty happening as we build up to kick off and here’s all the essential information you need to know:
Tickets and Access
*The Tigers Den club shop in Carlton Lanes shopping centre is open from 9:00am till 11:00am selling match tickets at game day prices and merchandise.
*The Stadium Store at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle will be open from 11:00am until kick off, and will open again after the final whistle.
*The Stadium Ticket Office will be open from 12:00 noon up until kick off for matchday ticket collections and ticket purchases by credit/debit card only (subject to availability). The Stadium Ticket Office will then open again after the final whistle for fans to buy St.Helens away tickets and Magic Weekend tickets.
*The Wheldon Road End turnstiles will all be Castleford Tigers fans ticket entry only. There will be no cash turnstiles on Wheldon Road. These turnstiles will open at 1:00pm.
*Turnstiles 17 and 18 (next to stadium ticket office) will be open for cash ticket sales (subject to availability) from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm. After 1:00pm these will become ticket only turnstiles. After 1:00pm the only turnstiles taking cash will be on Princess Street.
*The training pitch side turnstiles will be opening at 12:00 noon and the Tiger Bar will be showing the Wigan v Saints Super League game.
*All other turnstiles and access to the ground from the concourse will opening at 1:00pm.
*Princess Street turnstiles 7 and 8 will be cash from opening at 1:00pm to kick off (subject to availability). Every other turnstile will be ticket only from 1:00pm.
*As always, having the correct change will get you through the cash turnstiles quicker. Game day standing prices are Adult £22, Concession £14. Please note the seated stand is already fully booked for this match.
*Once through the turnstiles fans can make their way to any of our standing areas, only the seated stand is ticket only.
*Wakefield Trinity Junior Swap fans need to enter through the turnstiles displayed on their ticket.
*Ticket checks will be taking place so please ensure you have relevant ID for the ticket type you have purchased.
Pre Match Entertainment
Match day here at the Jungle just wouldn’t be complete without a pre match performance from the Castleford Tigers Claws and Paws cheerleaders. On Friday every age group from our dance academy will be performing.
Food and Drink
Three new draught bars are now open here at the Jungle. ‘Barkers Bar’ is situated on the stadium concourse behind the family zone and the ‘Jungle Bar’ is situated in the Princess Street Stand. Both will be selling draught beers Carlsberg Export, Shed Head Pale Ale and Birra Poretti.
Head to the ‘Meating Place’ just in front of the Tiger Bar where you can enjoy our pre and post match disco with our resident DJ Scott. Our new ‘Real Ale Bar’ draught bar is open in the ‘Meating Place’ beer garden, selling hand pulled Tiger Blonde and a guest beer.
The ‘Tiger Bar’ indoor bar underneath the seated stand is also open pre and post match,
Various food outlets are available throughout the stadium concourse serving hot food and drinks.
The XBlades trailer will be open selling sweets and soft drinks.
Car parking is available on site at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle priced at £5 per car. Please note the stadium car park does fill up very early, especially for Sky games due to the reduced space available. Our match day programme Black and Amber is available to purchase at £3 per copy from the XBlades Trailer, the Stadium Store and from various sellers within the stadium concourse. Each copy is jam packed full of content you won’t find anywhere else. This weeks edition includes exclusive interviews with Daryl Powell, Michael Shenton, Matt Cook, Steve Gill and Wakefield Trinity’s Scott Grix. You’ll also find plenty of junior quiz fun and a pull out Matt Cook poster.
