Wakefield Trinity can confirm that three players will go out on dual registration for this weekend’s opening round of the 2022 season.
Hebe Forbes, Sophia Liu and Georgia Pitman-Smith will head to Halifax as they compete in their first match of the 2022 season.
With a big pack for the forthcoming year, the club want to use this as an opportunity to develop some of the younger players in the squad, offering them much-needed game time whilst at the club.
Working with other teams situated around the area, this will help the stated players get up to match speed and fight for their place in the Trinity side ahead of a busy Super League season.
Speaking on this week’s loans, Ladies’ coach, Charlie Doherty, said, “We want to help every player in the squad maximise their potential and I think that a short stint at Halifax will help that.
“We have some great players at our disposal and this opportunity grants players the chance to develop their skills on the pitch and at training.
“This is an important step for Hebe, Sophia and Georgia to go out and improve and put into practice what we have built on at training.”
Wakefield Trinity Ladies start their 2022 Super League campaign on Sunday as we head to Twist Lane to face Leigh Miners Rangers Women.
