Wakefield Trinity Ladies RL is delighted to confirm the signing of Kacey Davies from Halifax Panthers for the 2022 season.
Davies, who like multiple other new faces in the dressing room, spent the back end of last season on loan at the club, thoroughly enjoying her time in Red, White & Blue.
Starting her career at Wibsey Warriors ARLFC, the 18-year-old fell in love with the sport from the very start. After a year at the Warriors, Davies took the leap to play for her hometown club, plying her trade at Bradford Bulls within their under-19s set-up before being selected for the national dise programme.
From there, it was a trip to the Panthers, playing for Halifax before making the move over to Wakefield, and she has never been happier.
“I am so happy to be given the chance to have a season at Wakefield as the coaching staff, facilitates and the team of support Wakefield provide is brilliant.
“As I played a few games for Wakefield at the end of last season, I really wanted to carry on playing for the club as I knew there was so much potential in the team.”
Kacey’s potential first game will be an away trip to Castleford Tigers in the Betfred Challenge Cup. Keep up-to-date on all women’s news by following their multiple social media pages.
