Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is delighted to partner with Morgan Sindall Construction as we look to develop the young female Rugby League talent situated across the area.
On International Women’s Day 2023, the Construction Group look to use their brand to promote physical & wellbeing amongst the female population, working with Trinity on a whole host of projects throughout the coming year.
This will start with a special video created to showcase all the great work females do in sport, most notably, the staff members and community built around the club before we start our next adventure, to be announced in the coming weeks.
Furthermore, looking to work from foundations up, Morgan Sindall Construction will also become Wakefield Trinity Ladies’ first-ever graphic sponsor, helping fund the female arm of the club, with their logo appearing on all half-time & full-time graphics created throughout the season, starting on Sunday against Hull KR.
Since winning the bid to construct Wakefield Trinity’s new stand, the organisation has looked at ways they can support the community. This partnership with the Foundation drives straight into their ‘Social Values Strategy’, which looks to work with the communities in which they build.
Speaking on the partnership, the Foundation’s Media & Commercial Executive, William Moore, said, “We are delighted to have Morgan Sindall Construction on board as a partner ahead of an important year for us.
“Growing the female game, especially around International Women’s Day, is key to our Rugby League strategy and is something we see as a long-term project.
“Their support of International Women’s Day, the Ladies’ team and other exciting projects coming up in the future has been fantastic. I am looking forward to working with them further.”
While Morgan Sindall Construction Marketing Manager for Yorkshire, North East & Cumbria, Louise McKay, said, “We are thrilled to be working with the Wakefield Trinity Foundation on this great project which will enhance the community by making the fans proud.
“Meeting the under-14s Cutsyke Raidettes and Wakefield Trinity Ladies team has been an eye opener into how passionate they are about women’s rugby.
“We are privileged to know we are playing a key role in helping create a great future for women in sport. ”
