Baldwinson Joins Leigh On Month Loan

Wakefield Trinity can announce that Jordan Baldwinson has joined Leigh Centurions on a month loan arrangement.

A product of the Hunslet Warriors community club, Baldwinson was a member of the England Academy tour to Australia in 2012 and made his Leeds senior debut in 2013 before furthering his experience with a stint at New Zealand Warriors.

He returned to this country to play on loan at Bradford in 2014 before joining Featherstone for the 2015 season when he won the Championship Young Player of the Year Award.

He then returned to Leeds, making a further 14 appearances for the Rhinos over the past two seasons but playing extensively on dual registration with Featherstone, before joining Wakefield on a two-year contract last autumn.

Chris Chester commented on the loan move, he said, “It is a great opportunity for Jordan to go out on loan at Leigh. He is very much part of our plans moving forward and game time at Leigh will give him an opportunity to get match fit in time for our Super 8s campaign later in the year.”
