Annual Past Players Pie & Pea Night Takes Place this Month

6th January, 2017

Wakefield Trinity are hosting their third Annual Past Players ‘Pie & Pea’ Night on Friday 20th January 2017.

Organised in association with the Trinity Heritage team this will be third year that Trinity past players have been invited to an informal ‘get together’ where they catch up with past players and old friends.

The recent events have been well attended, with players as far back as the 1950s attending, and the search has been successful via social media and player contacts. We are always on the lookout for new attendees and any past player is welcome. We have restricted it to first team players who have heritage numbers, of which there has been 1,377 since 1895.

The event takes place at Belle Vue on the Friday evening with 7pm for 7.30pm start. The cost is £10 which gives you your food and a couple of free drinks. As in recent years past players will eligible to reduced price season tickets or reduced entry fee on first team match days, which can be purchased on the night. We have a past players bar on match days.

As well as the hospitality, heritage certificates will be handed out to players who have not received them. Since the certificates were devised two years ago, almost one hundred and fifty have been presented.

To book your place, and certificate, you must confirm your attendance by contacting Lee Robinson on 07702 095118 or via email on [email protected]
