Trinity Ladies confirm Black Horse partnership

Wakefield Trinity Ladies RL is delighted to confirm that we have struck a deal with The Black Horse Pub, which will see the establishment support the side for the 2023 season.

Founded in 2014 by Tony Padgett, the pub’s accessible location has made The Black Horse a regular hit with both Wakefield locals & those from different parts of the district. Boasting the longest-running live music event in the City ‘The Sunday Sesh’, the pub also claimed recognition for having the biggest Beer Garden in the City Centre.

Looking to further grow the Ladies’ game, Tony & his team have always been big supporters of Wakefield Trinity Ladies, sponsoring the side over the past few years. Now, as we look to expand even further, the club is delighted to welcome the venue back on board, with the Foundation recently hosting their successful Sponsors Quiz Night at the premises.

Speaking on securing the partnership, Wakefield Trinity Media & Commercial Executive, William Moore, said, “We are delighted to bring The Black Horse Pub back onto our shirt for the 2023 season.

“As an avid partner of our Ladies’ side for the last couple of years, we were keen to secure their sponsorship for 2023 & I am really pleased that we managed to get it over the line.

“I can’t wait to see where this partnership can go over the coming year.”
