Wakefield Trinity are supporting OPRO and Wooden Spoon!!
In support of our official mouthguard partners OPRO, we are backing their collaboration with children’s charity of rugby Wooden Spoon. Wooden Spoon have raised over £25 million from over 700 projects which have transformed the lives of children and young people with a disability or facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland.
As part of the collaboration, OPRO are launching a fantastic initiative to help support the upcoming ‘Everest Rugby Challenge’ which Wooden Spoon are running next year. The Everest Rugby Challenge will see 30 challengers trek up Everest and attempt to set two world records for the highest ever game of full contact and mixed touch rugby at 6,500m. Team captains will be Shane Williams, Ollie Phillips, Andy Gomarsall and Tamara Taylor.
